Dividend income report – January 2017

Time is flying. We are already in February. Spring season starts in few weeks. I can’t wait for the summer.

Every month I receive a sizable income from different source of income streams. The income is more predictable.

These income streams are safer than a day job income because of its diversification. And, it grows year-over-year with reinvestment and dividend growth.

I received over $560 dividend income from 28 different sources.

For those new to this site, I am a middle class income earner like most of you with a mind-set of achieving financial freedom in December 2024 (in less than 8 years).

If I can do, then anyone can create these types of income streams with little bit of financial education, discipline investments with correct mind-set and patients.

It doesn’t have to be investing in stock market or buying other types of investments. It could be anything. You may start an online income streams with few hundred dollars.

Opportunities are everywhere. You just need to pick a right one for your interest and build from there.

As I always say, I like to share these details with readers because I like to inspire people to get some financial education and improve their wealth.

Now let’s get back to the numbers.

I received $562.15 dividend income in January 2017, and it is 6.30% higher than January 2016 which as $528.84.

As you noticed, I received almost same amount of dividend (just up by 6.30%). This is because of the portfolio clean up/profit taking I did in November 2016.

Most of the stocks I sold/reduced during the period produce dividend in January, April, July and October.
